The Stand Up Foundation
Let Love Open The Door
The Four Pillars
of the Stand Up Foundation
The Stand Up Foundation seeks to mobilize the body of Christ to creatively serve children in foster care and those who look after them.
If you are a foster or relative placement and you want to know if you qualify for one of our financial grants, please contact DCS Case Manager association with the placement or your private licensing agency and have them reach out by email to thestandupfoundation@gmail.com
We would be honored to help you!
Advocacy
We provide presentations for churches and civic groups for purposes of foster parent recruitment. We develop opportunities for the community at large to join foster families in their challenging but rewarding work through wraparound care initiatives.
Financial Grants
Our goal is to make foster care financially feasible by providing grants to qualifying foster/relative families. Foster parents don’t begin receiving a per diem until a while after the child is placed, but there are many purchases to make once a family accepts a foster placement in order for a child to feel more at home. Cribs/beds, clothing, toys, books, and the like. We want to eliminate financial barriers so that these precious children can have everything they need. They deserve the very best! Our organization has given out over 100K since 2013 to support children in foster care at the grassroots level, giving Resource Families the funding they need to make children feel more comfortable and enjoy more of their childhood while in foster care.

Support
We offer consistent encouragement and emotional support to foster families, DCS employees, foster care support groups, and children in foster care as well as teaching strategies to churches and groups to meet the needs of Resource Families!
Training
We provide unique opportunities for great on-going training regarding important topics that affect foster families. Topics include The Five Love Languages of Children in Foster Care, Financial Literacy for Foster Parents, and Keeping Your Marriage Strong in Foster Care. We have also partnered multiple times with Empowered to Connect to provide Trust Based Relational Intervention Training, which we believe to be the best, most-intensive and trauma-responsive curriculum available. If you need training for your group, contact us!
